Normally, the boy would be the Random number generator, but he is not here today. And as we've seen before, he likes to eat the evidence. Doll Quilt Swap 8

Just thought I'd take two minutes to show what I've been working on when I have some free time. I am participating in my first Doll Quilt Swap (DSQ8) and I have been working on a quilt for my secret partner. I have some embellishing left to do, and I'm binding it in red dupioni silk. I am amazed at all the beautiful quilts, and all the awesome talent behind them. I can't wait to receive mine. The suspense is gonna kill me. Think Pink

Well, the Holidays are finally over, and I think I'm starting to catch up a little. The boy is going to have his second birthday in about 2 weeks, and he seems to be able to play by himself for 15 or 20 minutes at a time now. That gives me time during the day to process a few orders here and there. Maybe even do some dishes. I've even managed to do a tiny little bit of quilting this week after he goes home and I finish processing the shipping on the orders. Now if I could stop signing up for more stuff to do. :0]

New Blog in Town

There is a new blog out called Modify Tradition modifytradition.blogspot.com/ that is shaping up to be very informative. They are showing new and modern ways to use traditional quilt blocks through use of prints or color, or just rethinking the shape of the block.
