For the Love of Solids [a modern swap]

The For the Love of Solids Swap is close to wrapping up. The deadline for International shipping is over, and today is the deadline for domestic shipping. We had to create two items, a large one and a small one, ( think mini quilt, table runner, sewing machine cover, tote bag, etc. and zip bag, journal cover, gadget case, pincushion, needle case, etc.

This swap was a lot of fun. Using solids only was more of a challenge than I anticipated. For every idea I had, I would always envision it with a tiny bit of a print. I can't help it. But in the end, It all worked out.

This is the mini quilt I sent:

And the one I received:

Isn't it fantastic? I absolutely love it. Ronit, "Two Hippos" sent it to me. It's my favorite color, modern wonky, improv, it has it all. Thank you so much Ronit!  Now to find a place to hang it.

Oh, I also got all these extra goodies:

Could a girl get any luckier?  :)
